Bicycle wishes!

Hi crafters

Ive been sooo busy over recent weeks that my personal birthday card list has gotten way behind and i actually missed a couple of birthdays...so unlike me!!

I made a couple of these cards very quick and simple but lovely and just added a bit of sparkle with some glimmer paper.

A little colouring in, some bling on the wheels and a belated sentiment from happiest birthday wishes and away we go.

Hope they are well received even if a bit late, better late than never i always say!!

roses are red...

Good Afternoon all

Ive been having a bit of a relaxing day of sorts today hence the later than usual post and today i want to give you a sneeky peek!!

My friend is getting married in August and i am making her stationary...this box contains her invites!!

And not to blow my own trumpet but if the box is lovely just imagine all the lovliness inside it!!

You can just see the fabulous gems from Stampin' Up! which without them these invites would not be as sparkly as they are!!

Sorry but cant show the invites until they have all been handed out :0)

Thats it from me i'm going to put me feet up with a brew and a mag and chill

Simple birthday

Good evening crafters

What a busy day I have had would love to put my feet up and relax but still lots to do including make a crown for a friends daughter for king & queen day at school?!!

This is the card i made for my partners mother on her birthday, very simple but the lovely flowers make it stand out beautifully.

These are from the flower trim in the seasonal catalogue and i love to ut them up and use them as singles grouped together.
Ive used the little leaves sizlet and garden green with a splash of so saffron for a cheery birthday wish :0)

Here is a closer look, ive added some gems for a bit of sparkle!!

Dapper dad

Hello Crafters

As i mentioned the other day I actually finished my 3 cards at our Jems training day on saturday, a rarity for me as normally too busy chatting...ooops!

But as you can see I DID IT!!

The day had a male theme as Fathers Day is coming up in the next few months and I had a great day :0)

Here's all the cards together.

They use the Dapper Dad stamp set which i really enjoyed using, the possibilities are endless with it and my downline Angie did a fantastic swap using it too which will show you soon

The card above uses the shoe stamp...so cute!

A very sinple but very effective card that am sure any father would be glad to receive.
Using the Argyle embossing folder to get a 'cardigan' effect and the fab silver buttons in the seasonal - available till June 30th -the sentiment came from Bring on the cake stamp set and a bit of bakers twine to finish it off.

This uses the watch stamp from Dapper Dad and if you look closely Julie had the fab idea of using a button after punching the centre of the watch out to raise it so really does look like a watch!

Thats it from me today and am doing well with my blogging challenge

Another challenge for me!

Good morning crafters

At training on Saturday we did a project that Julie called 'think outside the Boutique Box' and i must admit when it comes to scrapbooking I start off with allsorts of plans but they never look right so I give up! Not anymore!!

I normally spend too much time chatting with fellow Jems at these days and never finish my projects..I did myself proud by finishing all 3 cards - these i will show you another day - plus I made a start on this and finished it off on Sunday

I love the way it has turned out and its just using the kit Boutique Boxes and a 12x12 very vanilla sheet of card and i am amazed at how much stuff i still have left from this kit after using all the above.
To have a look at my inspiration then pop over HERE to take at look at julies.

Back tomorrow with more

training day swaps

Good evening crafters

Yesterday was a Jems training day in Pudsey, always tons of fun but this time we were challenged to go outside our comfort zone and make male themed swaps for a male themed day!!

Not one of my favorite things as male cards are so difficult to make especially if you dont know the person they are intended for.

Anyway i came up with a little rosette for telling someone they are no1 dad and made 30 of them in various male colours...only silly me forgot to take picture of them alltogether but below is a single one to give you the idea at least!!

i also challenged myself to blog regularly and so I am aiming to blog everyday for the next month to see if can get myself organised and in some sort of rountine so i apologise in advannce if my rambling gets a bit boring!!

thats it for today

Good afternoon crafters

im having a break from household chores and tidying etc to have a little browse online at crafty projects hoping to get some inspiration!!

Anyway Stampin' Up! have announced a colour refresh where some old colours are retiring, some colours are moved to new families and some totally new colours arrive all from the new annual catty due 1st July 2013!!

Heres the changes so you know if you have a favorite colour whether its staying or going!!

I am loving the blues and will be sad to bashful blue go as loved that but sooo looking forward to meeting bermuda bay!!

Well quick post from me as need to get on with some male themed swaps for training day next weekend and have no idea what to do...male themed totally out of my comfort zone!! Wish me luck!!

fun flowers 3d

Evening all

Sorry its a late and quick post...very busy day in work today and lots of jobs to complete before bedtime too so just popping in :0)

This is the card i made for a lovely dear friend on her 50th, wanted something simple but special on her half century!!

so i opted for a diarama card and simply decorated with bloomin marvellous SAB set which i am loving and cant stop using at the moment!!

The colours are soon to be retiring bashful blue, rich razzleberry, island indigo and a splash of lucky limeade all blinged up with rhinestones which are compulsory in my book!!

She loved it!! I loved it!!

Thats it from me for now

Good afternoon all

I have been soo busy that totally forgot to blog but  am back today and happy birthday to me :0) quick post as off out with the family to celebrate!!

Here's  the cupcake rosette toppers i made for a wedding next month...sooo cute and so easy once i got to grips with them.

They have the couple's details on front and the wedding date on the back...thankfully i am not making the cupcakes they go on as can not cook to save my life really!! My mother would certainly agree too!!!

Here just a few of them before i had the sticks attached and was thinking of making a banner using the same idea so watch this space and hopefully i will get back to blogging regularly.
