Hellloooooo crafters!!

Hope you are all having a lovely day...its a bank holiday and am looking forward to enjoying Easter with the family as well as some me time - ie crafting time lol!

Steam punk wedding!!!

That was what I was given as a baseline for a card...here is my interpretation who knows if its right but I had a fab time making this card!!

What do you think?!!

I used a diecut design for the centre on top of a very vanilla base embossed with cogs - I got the impression a lot of cogs go hand in hand with steam punk!! Base card of crumb cake and sponged the edges with soft suede

Computer generated sentiments and found these diecut cogs which are foiled that I layered up as a base for the ' congrats' sentiment.

Lets hope I fulfilled the idea of 'steam punk wedding' correctly

Happy crafting and wishing you all a lovely Easter.

Morning crafters

Another commission from me today...first wedding anniversary card.
I decided to go simple - its just my style sorry :0)

As your first anniversary is paper I went for a newsprint background paper along with baked brown sugar cardstock.I used a non su card base as loved the foiled swirl and used it as a frame for my design.

I rolled up a piece of DSP to look like a newspaper and added a tag with the anniversary date on tied with the gold bakers twine.

I daubed a bit of metallic gold ink around the edges of the very vanilla and baked brown sugar which im loving the more I use it - not just for Christmas!!

You can see that lovely foiled swirl I was talking about and added a non su glittery button to make it a little bit more masculine

And Voila!!

Hopefully the husband in question will love it as much as I do

Happy crafting

 Good Afternoon all

Another lovely day here hopefully this is the sign of the weather to come over the Bank Holiday weekend...fingers crossed!

Well in between household chores, playing in the sun with my son and wedding invitations I had commission cards to make.

The first was a BIG wedding card...out of my comfort zone as I like clean and simple cards which when working on a 8x8 card was not sure what to do with all that space :-}

Here goes ... still simple I think and I love the backing paper I had forgotten I had and tones beautifully with SU wisteria wonder

I added gems to the entre of these lovely little ribbon roses made with whisper white satin ribbon - sadly retired :( and used the Beautiful wings embosslit to cut a dinky butterfly

Topped with fancy diecut sentiment personalised using the computer and matched as close as possible to wisteria wonder with font colour.

Hopefully the customer who ordered will like as well as the couple whose special day is fast approaching.

Well id better get on with my chores - lots still to do before back to work tomorrow
Happy crafting
