Good morning

I had a bit of a clear up yesterday - much needed let me tell you!

I can see the table that was underneath all the 'crafty'

In this tidy up I found that I had the SAB set lotus blossom and it had not even been inked so I had to do something with it and took inspiration from my upline Julie  and made a smaller version of her card using strawberry slush and pink pirouette, island indigo, bermuda bay and pool party

I love the sahara sand lace trim and added some little pearls to the cards.

I cant believe I had not even used these stamps and had such fun playing with the 3 step stamping and am looking forward to having a play with some more colour combos :0)

I even made a little box for the cards to be stored in and this would also make a lovely gift for someone.

Happy crafting

Hi crafters

I must apologise as I have just realised I forgot to post these little bookmarks in my 'wedding week' as they are made with the your perfect day stamp set which was my theme last week.

They would be a lovely gift for Mothers day or just for a friend who loves to read.

I used colour combo of pistachio pudding, so saffron and pink pirouette and made the top using the scalloped tag topper punch.

I embossed a section across the top to add a little extra detail and ribbon to the top.

Hello to you

I wanted to show you a sap card I made recently as it should of arrived at its destination by now!!

I used the wonderous  wreath stamp set and co-ordinating dies to cut out the wreath and decorated with some flowers in strawberry slush, crushed curry and calypso coral.

I embossed the background in decorative dots folder and printed a quick sentiment to add to the bottom.

I do hope this was well received.

Hi

A lovely congrats card to show you today...I am loving the something borrowed DSP from the spring/summer seasonal catalogue and you can make stunning cards with the simplest ideas like this one...

Base of sahara sand piece of chosen paper and a SAB greeting stamped and cut out using the deco labels framelets mounted on calypso coral DSP and some itty bitty accent flowers dotted about with pearls and away we go!!

Good morning crafters

Bit of a later post from me today has been such a busy morning with chores as well as family time with my son...we made breakfast together - or rather I made breakfast he made a mess!!

Anyway today I want to show a new home card although I will apologise now as the stamp set is retired im afraid...sorry really wanted to show the subtle sunset effect.

I coloured an acrylic block using SU markers and spritzed with water and placed on card then did a quick wash over with water to soften the colours even more.

What do you think? I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Hello

A lovely simple card that can be for a wedding or even an anniversary.

Colour combo of whisper white, pear pizazz and soft sky. The wreath I cut out after stamping to make a little bit 3d.

The lovely sentiment stamped in island indigo and topped with a itty bitty flower.

Thursday 19 February 2015

Good morning

Stylish black, white and silver today with a lovely congrats card that could be adapted for wedding thankyou cards also.

I wanted the picture to look like a Polaroid picture with the sentiment stamped.

I embossed the little flowers and the sentiment in silver using vellum for the larger greeting.

Gems on the flowers to add sparkle to the shine of the embossing.

I trailed the little flowers up the length of the card to add detail.

This would be a lovely keepsake for your wedding guests using one of your special day pictures for helping you to celebrate.

Morning all

As promised wedding week continues for me with todays spring-y wedding invitation.
I used Coastal cabana as base card for simple pocket invite and printed the sentiment and stamped around it again using the wreath fro Your Perfect Day stamp set in pear pizazz and Bermuda bay.

I used coastal cabana thick twine to secure the invite shut and added gems to flowers

Inside computer generated information decorated using the little flower stamp as well as reply card to sit in the pocket.

Any colour scheme would well with this lovely set as well as lots of occasions.

Hello to you

Today is a more detailed wedding card to send to the happy couple using the gorgeous irresistibly yours DSP which I watercolour washed in Bermuda bay.

I stamped the cake image twice in smoky slate and cut one out, coloured in using soft sky and mounted over the first image with 3D foam.

I stamped the small flower in Bermuda bay and cut out and glued on to the cake for decoration with gems to the centres.

Stamped sentiment from the set onto punched circle and another little flower as finishing touch.

Lovely!

Hi crafters

I have been playing with the Your Perfect Day stamp set this weekend so have decided that my projects this week are wedding related starting with a CAS card.

I simply stamped the wreath in baked brown sugar and the little flowers added in raspberry ripple with tiny pearl at the centre.

The sentiment is from the same set too and stamped in raspberry ripple.

A lovely card to send or receive that takes no time at all to create.

Sunday 15 February 2015

Good evening

late post from me today e have been having a lazy family day watching films together.

I was asked to make a 'Marilyn Monroe' card with glitz and sparkle this is what I came up with.

It is just smaller than A4 in size - still need to sort an envelope to fit :0) and uses whisper white, basic black and red - I used metallic red card to add glitz to the background and added a few gems to corner as well as pearls to her necklace peeping at the bottom corner.

I printed the sentiment and then glittered it in red and my favourite bit is her glittered lips - I covered in crystal effects to add the glossy sparkle!! Amazing sparkle on them.

Hope this is well received.
