Hellllooo

WOW! it's a long time since I have blogged I'm afraid and really wanted to join in this month's Jems bloghop, the theme of which is 'A review of 2016'.

You should of joined me from Julie's blog here

I had no idea where to start so I thought about my favourite item and it had to be the large number dies...I love them and as 2016 had lot of big birthdays for me used them a whole lot. So I decided to show a few of my past projects using the framelets.

Just a few for you to browse over.

Head on over to Lucy's blog here

As promised the holder for the notecards from yesterday.

The tutorial I used came from Sam over at Pootles papercraft youtube channel but I adapted it slightly.

Lovely sentiment added to the label for the front of the bellyband.

The box opens like a pizza box :0)

Hello

So back to the Garden projects...i promise i will share something different at the end of the week :0)

I made some lovely little notecards as you just never know when you need a little card for something as I am sure you all know...best to be prepared.

So...

Simple single fold card with coloured stamp and sentiment added plus a little sparkly gem to the heart...cute.
I added some DSP to the envelope to add some interest.

Pop back tomorrow to see the box to hold these lovely little cards.

Morning all

Todays project off a little bit from my Gift from the garden theme only as my friend had a baby last week so wanted to show you the card i made for her to welcome him.

Inspiration for this card came from here a SU demo who makes fantastic projects and used the foxy friends stamp set.

The congrats i used came from Cottage greetings set, lovely and swirly writing love it.

The bow was die cut from the mini treatbag die set and added some watercolour wash with timeless texture dots for the background.

Congratulations again and welcome to the world little Cian.

Hello

Following on with the projects using Gift from the Garden i made this cute little tag.

Simple and sweet and had thought to fill jar with sweeties...had eaten them all so flowers did the trick too and have pride of place brightening up my workspace at the minute.

My carnations are doing lovely too :0)

Morning crafters

It;'s monthly challenge time over on notjuscards

And the image this month i chose to work with is this cute cuppa one from Bloobell stamps you can get your hands on it here

I made a lovely tea bag gift holder using some SU A little foxy designer series paper and simply added my coloured image cut into a circle to the front.

Coloured using promarkers and the pic below shows the sparkle i added using wink of stella although my pics are slightly dark as the light today virtually non existant due to very rainy and dismal weather, looking out would not believe it is August!

Lovely image .

Morning

Whilst having a tidy up of my crafty area and organising my stamp sets I found *guiltily* a set I have never inked up...poor thing!

So decided to have a play with my 'gift from the garden' set and made a lovely set of note cards.

I stamped the watering can in black and the flowers on some spare card so i could cut them out and glue on coming out of the can, only used a little of the sentiment as a banner and doodled around the edge before mounting. Simple but lovely.

I made some in different colourways too...just need to make a holder for them so watch this space :0)
