family!

Well hi all am soooooooo excited as the UPS man will be here tomorrow and along with lots of other goodies he will have my BIG SHOT!!! Im giddy just thinking about it and am going to be pacing around like a cat on hot bricks till it arrives!!

Well i had made little goody bags and decorated my gazebo with gerberas/daisies depending on how you put them together along with handmade bunting with a few SU papers thrown in to brighten it up but and its a big but the pictures on my camera were washed away when my son decided to put the camera in the paddling pool to photo the water!!! Thankfully i had downloaded a few days before and cleared in anticipation of the surprise 70th birthday party so only lost the last few crafty pictures :-(

never mind...ordered my big shot so new camera will have to wait so will have to use my mobile to take photos for forseeable future!

Onto the craft anyway...this is a scarpbook page we did at training but silly me forgot to take my photo with me to Pudesy...left it on the printer oops! so all i had to do was add it to the page and voila!!

I love these papers and the flowers and have also fallen in love with my chipboard letters too...have ordered some more and looking forward to playing about
forgive the bad flashback on the photo once i got the page into my album really didnt want to come back out and the way my luck was going if id pulled it would of ripped!!

roll on good luck, the UPS man and lots of crafting

take care and thanks for popping by dont forget to leave a comment so i know you have been

70th birthday

Well i actually managed some crafting today and had to get my mother in laws 70th birthday cards from us and our son done ready for friday so got cracking!!

Decided to use my Greenhouse Gala DSP on concorde crush with a little old olive thrown in for good luck and now i have got the hang of these rolled roses am loving them so added some of those to finish off our card in certainly celery DSP.

Added some pearls to the centres of the roses and just a couple of strips for the finishing touch...really hope the MIL likes it :0)

And i loved the daffodils my SU mummy Jules has been doing so gave them ago for Ben's card to his nan...chocolate chip base card with whisper white and daffodil delight DSP, just believe stamp set and flower accent stamped in daffodil delight and certainly celery and again a hint of pearls. I covered 'NAN' in chipboard letters ( a recent freebie from a training day and something that have not used before till then so new thing for me) covered with DSP and simple pearls to set them off!!

Am sure Bens nan is going to love this as well as the surprise party we are throwing her...she has no idea!!

still a million things to do and make so thats all from me for today

take care

napkin holders

Good Evening
hope you've had a gorgeous weekend wherever you are as we certainly have, busy weekend tidying and planting in the garden and painting the gazebo ready for a surprise 70th party next friday for the mother in law!!

no excuse is ever needed for crafting but i like to add a little something so made these lovely napkin/cutlery holders in lovely summery colours ( am hoping the weather stays nice for next weekend too)
I used DSP from DSP stacks in pumpkin pie and daffodil delight, punched edges with eyelet border and coloured bits of a an SAB punch bunch stamp set to make a little tag.
I think they are lovely, am making bunting, goody bags and decorating my gazebo (weather permitting) with papercrafts so will return with those photos in the week

thanks for calling by take care

Good evening all, hope you've had a lovely day today

Been thinking for a while but playing with it at training convinced me (just had to convince my other half!!)

Below is my favorite of the cards we made using the big shot and all the exclusive dies are on my list!! its going to cost me lol!!

This was the 'big shot' demo corner and the things you can make are endless, i fell in love with the mini milk carton...its soooo cute! Really cant wait to get mine :0D
Well hopefully i will get some crafting done in the next few days and have something new to show you...tons to do on my list too.
