Hello Crafters

A lovely day here today got a bit of gardening done before it got too hot then had to have a little crafty time as needed a birthday card for my son's friend whose party we are off to this afternoon.

I love the baby wipe technique and once started I tend to make batches of cards so as to maximise the use of my reinkers!

Today I used the show and tell photopolymer stamp set - so easy to use even without a stamp-a-majig as you can see exactly where you are putting the stamp :0)

So here are a few of the ones I made all together - could not fit them all in the picture but you certainly get the idea :0)

I used the itty bitty flower punch in white and embellished with either pearls or rhinestones

And stamped various sentiments from the express yourself hostess set in basic black to make it stand out.

How lovely is the varied colour effect gained with this technique!

Well wishing you all a lovely day whatever you are upto.

Good evening crafters

Wow! Am I glad to sit down today been a very busy day and to top it off have to now sort a new printer as my little doggie decided to chew the cable!! Not impressed and she is in the bad books...no snuggles tonight!!

Anyway I wanted to show the lovely wedding stationery I recently sent off to a delightful bride... I am safe to show as they have been sent out too :0)

My quota was vintage, shabby chic and birdcages - a varied mix I know and out of lots of designs this is the one that was picked.

These were pocket invitation with RSVP and guest information in the pocket and the little bird charm is adorable and dangles nicely, I attached it using some natural twine.
The mellow sage cardstock was embossed using vintage wallpaper folder with a lovely effect.

This shows how many I had to make the pile just kept getting bigger and bigger :0)

And here are a few of the designs for place cards that I sent her to choose from...all very lovely and we have come to a decision that brings in a few aspects so will post once the wedding been and gone!!

Well that's me for today - off to fight with my new printer!!

Hi Crafters

Hope you are having a nice day whatever you are up to!!

I wanted to show you this lovely birthday card I made for a friend recently.

I found some rich razzleberry ribbon that had to use so this gave me the colour scheme along with smoky slate and pear pizzazz.

I did stamp a flower from the petite petals set using some platinum non SU ink to give a shimmery background...love the way it turned out!

Also embossed the white card using the chevron folder and stamped a greeting using You're Lovely set...as Alison is :0). topped with a few little itty bitty flowers, gems and little leaves - am so going to miss that punch as it is retiring this month :((

Added the ribbon tied to the side and all done!!

Although I did then make a matching gift bag for the present to go in :0)

Hope you had a lovely birthday Alison

Morning all
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and single mums wishing you all a lovely day!!

Todays offering is a wedding card a customer ordered to match the wedding colour scheme and I really liked the way the design turned out in the week so made a similar version.

I love the brightness of these colours and wish Emma & Mark a fabulous wedding day on Friday and best wishes for the future together!

Good morning all
What a gorgeous sunny day here today and do hope it is wherever you are :0)

Quickie from me as very busy day starting with some pampering for me in 45mins at the hairdressers, out for lunch, familytime, fun n games and that's just the planned stuff!!

I was asked to make a wedding card so quickly rustled this up and fell in love with it so will be making more of the same design.

I printed the personalisation and wedding date on added some polka dot embossing and used the fashionable hearts embosslit to cut and emboss the hearts along the bottom.

You can see the different patterns better n the picture below and of course as always had to add a little bling to each heart with a coloured gem.

Added a length of satin ribbon and mounted it all for the finished card.

I hope they like it as much as I do and wish them a fab day and future.

Good evening all

Late from me today as had scheduled this but for some reason blogger didn't want to publish it!!

Never mind sorted now :0)

I am safe to show this as my Dad would not know what a blog do dah is let alone how to find mine...sorry Dad!!

Now my Dad has not long retired and has taken to 'playing' in the garage - he has made a multitude of garden whirligigs and birdhouses whilst pottering in the garage so wanted to make a card for Fathers Day that represented his recent DIY efforts.

This is the result...

I love these box cards I must admit and am sure my dad is going to too!!

You can just see a little garden whirligig that my Dad will find funny ass he spends the rest of the time fishing :0) I used the SU Hardwood stamp - soooo many uses!! on crumb cake and baked brown sugar base. I made a computer DIY DAD and cut into a banner and used the worlds greatest stamp which is sadly retired.

The 'nails' in the wood are black coloured gems.

Happy fathers day to all you dads out there for sunday.
I am entering this in fantasy stampers 'for the boys' challenge pop and have a look here

Sunday 8 June 2014

Good afternoon

Late post from me today as i am not feeling very well and neither is my son...house will be quarantined if we carry on :(

It was my parents wedding anniversary this week and wanted a simple and clean card for them...i am not a fussy crafter very often!

This new stamp set which goes live July 1st was just what i needed...so cute too!!

I used the Stampin write markers to colour the image and added dots around the edge which looks a bit like paper piercing, mounted onto good old old olive and voila!!

I used a greeting from Express yourself stamp set in smoky slate and even added my parents initials on the tree like they were carved in.

Overall i love the effect :0)

Just before i go i last posted a challenge card entry for fantasy stampers challenge and i came third so am well chuffed with that - thankyou

Happy crafting all
