Hello crafters!

Happy Christmas!!

Hope you all had a wonderful festive season spending time with family, friends and loved ones and having lots of fun and laughter...we have :0)

I was lucky enough to receive some crafty goodies as presents too but only got chance to play with them today = excited Karyn!!

Seen as we all got lots of lovely presents I set about making Thank You cards first and these are just the cutest and so simple.

Bermuda Bay and Pistachio pud look great together with the simple stamp that is coming soon in the new year so watch this space for more information...

These cards are only 3x3 inches and look classy in very vanilla don't you think

My parents bought me the simply scored board finally added it to my collection of stampin up goodies and so had to just add a simple line around the stamped area for detail.

I had a fair few to make and hope the people receiving them like them as much as me :0)

Happy crafting

Merry christmas

Good Morning crafters

Quick post today with just a small selection of the Christmas cards I have been making... orders went very well this year and along with other things I have been kept very busy!!

I love doing this technique for the salty backgrounds and loved the way these turned out making me think of lovely starry skies.

I stamped the snowflakes in silver and black to make the background stand out and added a dazzling diamonds snowflake to the sentiment.

This one used the holiday home set which is great and adore the santa and his sleigh streaking across the sky...soo cute!!

Hope your Christmas crafting is coming along...I still have a fair bit to do so best get busy.

Sunday 26 October 2014

WOW!
didn't think it was that long since I last blogged but how time flies when you are having fun doesn't it :0)

Ive been sooo busy finishing off wedding on the day stationery  and other orders slipped my mind ...oh dear!!

Today I want to show you a glimpse of just some of the things I have been upto.

The lovely vintage shabby chic placecard design I came up with for a recent wedding with the quota of a hint of coral and the couple wanted table names using motorbikes...thought it would be difficult to make them look 'shabby chic-ish' but loved the way they turned out.

The bike names were 3d cut with my silhouette cameo machine - love that too!! you can see the detail of embossing and flowers better on this close up picture.

I used pistachio pudding card along with a  hint of calypso coral and basic pearls.

Tableplan done too and the birdcage charms matched those used on their wedding invitations too...the couple in question loved all the work I did for them which makes all my time and effort even more worthwhile :0)

Just before I go another of my loves at the moment is the stampin up curvy keepsake box die and have been going quite box crazy for them so just a sneeky peek!!

That all for today hope you all have a lovely weekend

take care and happy crafting

Good Morning all

Well I have a busy day ahead so will be quick today...it as my brothers birthday on Thursday and I always struggle with male cards but I had an idea in my head and this is the result!!!

I stamped stars in black on the black cardstock and used something to say stamp set for the coloured stars which very handily comes with a matching punch...sooo cool no fussy cutting for me lol!!

I used the retired (sorry) filmstrip stamp and added some mad little pics of my bro in them :0)

Then just added a few tiny non SU gems left over from baby shower to add some detail and bling!!

That's me for today hope you all have a fab day whatever you are up to

Morning crafters

Its a lovely sunny day here just right for crafting with the patio doors open :0)

Well it was my friends last day at work on Friday before starting a new chapter and going on maternity leave for 6 months so could not resist making her a little gift...

so introducing this little fella made using the new SU curvy keepsake box die - love it!!

I used various sized circle punches to make the eyes and dummy and as we are having a boy things had to be blue!!

Even added a little blonde curl...awww cutie!!!

Simply finished off with a little tag that you get with the die as well as 2 other shapes and stamped 'it's a boy'.

Good luck to Sheena you will be a fantastic mum!!

Will be playing with this die again this weekend so keep an eye out for more projects.

Tuesday 2 September 2014

Good afternoon all

Sorry for the late post but been off enjoying the last day with my son before school starts again and what a glorious day it has been :0)

I have been trying to spread a little kindness and have chose 5 people who want to help too so todays offering is the little pack of cards in a lovely box that I have posted out to a lovely friend today.

I used the lovely stamp set beautiful bunch in lost lagoon and blackberry bliss with hint of old olive for good measure and the effect is gorgeous!!

I used the lovely lace embossing folder on the whisper white cards along with sentiments from garden party and flower patch, then used kraft card and the typeset DSP to create the cards below.

All blinged with gems as wouldn't be complete without a bit of sparkle and heres them all together with a peek at the box...will show you that another day :-)

That's me for today hope you're having a lovely day where you are

Sunday 31 August 2014

Good Morning

A mixture of a day here today sunny but wet if you get what I mean...

Well  bit of a combination for todays offering as this is to celebrate friends who got married yesterday, I made their wedding stationery etc in ivory and Cadbury purple which is so popular at the moment but wanted to step away from that with their card so...

I went for a nice yellow with So saffron and stamped, punched and glued all the little flowers down. the sentiment is embossed in gold. Simple but gorgeous.

The combination part of this post is I will be entering this into a challenge on Fantasy stampers challenge blog the subject this time being hearts and flowers... I covered both these with this one!!

Thanks for stopping by

Monday 11 August 2014

Good evening all

I have been absent from blogland for a few weeks...just soo busy with wedding stuff as well as life in general and have been planning a baby shower for a friend which was this weekend so can share some pics now without spoiling the surprise :0)

I turned a changing table into a sweetie cart full of goodies that just look fantastic, so cute everyone loved that.

I got a fab idea from pinterest - addicted to it!! - about this frame with mini washing lines on where you write a message or words of advice/wisdom on a babygro and add to the washing...lots of fun.

We had lots of food including cupcakes, baby face cookies and the cake which had two shades of blue inside all made by my mum and niece...I admit I cant bake!! But they were greatly appreciated by all who came to the shower!

I did make the simple chalkboard style banner tho :0)

In case you didn't realise already...she is having a boy!!

Saturday 12 July 2014

Good Morning all

WOW! a week has passed already...in the blink of an eye to be honest!!

Well for once in the last few weeks I do not have a childrens party to attend today just lunch with the mother-in-law :0) and its a beautiful day here so am looking forward to spending some time out in the sunshine too.

Today I am showing you the lovely little earring holder gifts I made for the ladies I work with...we are a family there and I appreciate them all for the help and love they have given me over a difficult few months sojust wanted them to know that with a cute pair of earrings.

I used smoky slate embossed with modern mosaic and cut with circle framelets, then stamped using petal parade in smoky slate and punched 2 holes for the earrings to fit in.

I stamped an image from chalk talk in various colours to match the earrings and to suit each of the recipients.

And here they are all together...lovely.

The ladies loved them!!

Happy crafting and have a lovely day wherever you are.

Quick post from me today as busy day ahead filled with childrens parties!!

I love the clean and simple look to cards and this project will be entered into this fortnight challenge over on Fantasy Stampers

The challenge is Clean and Simple so here goes...

I used the babywipe technique with reinkers to get the beautiful multi-coloured effect to the flowers stamped using petite petals and punched out with the matching punch...no fussy cutting for me!!
Stamped simple background using gorgeous grunge.

Sentiment stamped using petite pairs...bit of a petite them going on don't you think :-)
and gem to the centre of the flowers!!

You can see the effect on the flowers better on this close up picture.

Saturday 5 July 2014

Afternoon Crafters

A lovely day here today...gardening is calling but needed to make a few things before I do that!!

A friend has a special birthday coming up and we have bought many gifts for her so obviously we needed some packaging suitable for her special birthday. This is what I came up with...

I decorated a large SU kraft box using so saffron DSP all around as well as having yet another go at using my spiral flower die...I have really struggled to get to grips with this as my flowers never seemed to look right :(

I stamped gorgeous grunge  in crumb cake on very vanilla and mounted on black to make it stand out added my flowers in so saffron, perfect plum and blushing bride along with pear pizazz leaves and tiny pearls dotted about.

You can just about see the jumbo pearls I used at the centre of the flowers and the sentiment is from Chalktalk stamped in baked brown sugar.

Love it!!

Happy crafting guys
