Wow it is the middle of the working week already, my week is flying by.

Over on notjustcards a new challenge starts today for the month of January sponsored by Morgans Art World. Our theme this month is 'new beginnings'.

As seems to be my style at the minute I made a simple and sweet calender - new beginnings get it lol!! using the garden 8 image

I printed my calender template and over the top added the butterfly image which instead of colouring in the image I printed in different colours and sizes using SU's my digital studio (sorry unavailable now but I love mine and wont get rid of it!) I added simple border of flowers and mounted with so saffron and flirty flamingo.

The butterflies are also coloured with...can you guess??

Yes  you got it - wink of stella and as this has an alcohol base it makes the ink run ever so slightly giving a water coloured effect you can see better on the picture below.

Lovely. This is now hanging in my crafty area for me to look at.
