Happy first birthday

Hiya

Todays offering is a first birthday card for my neice who was 1 on saturday, obviously went for girly pink with pink pirouette DSP as background mounted on melon mambo...another of my favorites at the moment too

Added a simple number 1 which i embossed with vintage wallpaper folder to add some texture, mounted added a lil bow and stamped today.

You can see the lovely texture better on this photo although they aren't the best pictures sorry!

Hope Eleanor liked it and had a lovely day

Easter bags

Good morning peeps

hope all is well with you...im suffering with a cold...again but am hoping that some crafting will make me feel better!!

Ive made these Easter gift bags for my son and neice and would like your opinion on whether i need to add a 'happy easter' sentiment on them or is the bunny enough???
Your thoughts are much appreciated please :0)

Well i had these medium sized giftbags in my stash and decided to decorate using DSP, for Bens i used certainly celery and old olive to contrast, top note die as a topper background which i embossed with square lattice and stamped his name and added some gorgeous glimmer brads to finish.
I added little bit of ribbon around the handle to break up the white and added my attempt at an easter bunny made with punches?!! Is it me or is he a little 'gozzy' in the eyes??

I put the finishing touches to Olivias with some rhinestones after stamping her name with a retired stamp set.

Anyway i just cant decide whether to add the sentiment or not, maybe will try one and see how it looks but please do let me know what you think.

take care and happy sunday

As with most people i really struggle to make mens cards but think this simple birthday card doe the job perfectly!

It use a lovely happy birthday stamp which i coloured in and SU sahara sand card to set off the bright colours.

I stamped happiest birthday wishes hostess set ( free with a qualifying workshop) in the background in sahara sand ink and topped with some blue ribbon band sentiment.
added some bling and a little sentiment, also from happiest birthday wishes set and viola...simple!

As per usual im behind with everything so quick post today

Good afternoon all

busy day for me today (as usual ) so am late in posting :0)

Just a few quick birthday cards from me today...i have alot of birthdays coming up in the next week or so so had to whip a few up.

First one is using my favorite four frames stamp set and punch, cheerful treat designer papers and very vanilla ribbon.

I have been trying to get away from just tying my ribbons in a knot as always so experimenting with ruffling, pleating etc to change the look of my projects.

This one is for my neice who is 4 next week...how time flies!! feel old now :0(

anyway as you can see ive ruffled the ribbon on this design...looks like a bit of a tutu peeking out the side! Again with the cheerful treat designer papers and a non SU 4 stamp coloured in, blinged up with basic rhinestones.

My new best friend set id the creat a cupcake staps and builder punch to match, cant seem to stop using it but then it makes me hungry for cupcakes!!

This uses pastel shades of wisteria wonder, very vanilla and pink pirouette and was comissioned for a friends grandma, hope she likes it and has a lovely birthday.

Thats it from me for now...still got a million and omne jobs to do and thats before i start on my wedding orders etc

take care all and happy crafting
