Happy Sunday to you

 

Yesterday I held a Crafternoon at my house and was joined by 8 lovely ladies and had lots of fun crafting and definitely lots of laughter...so much so that we were supposed to wrap up at 4pm we went a couple of hours over good job no one had any further plans we had a fantastic time!!

 

We had to work in groups of 4 as only had table big enough for 4 but whilst one lot crafting the others were browsing display tables, chatting and enjoying light refreshments of cuppa and a cake :0)

 

Here is a brief look at before everyone arrived.

 

 

I made the little goody bag filled with all the materials needed to make the projects plus some extra freebie bits to use at home and made the lovely Bermuda bay tags which look fab against the Kraft of the bag.

 

Not the best picture of my display table I am afraid as not much light in my room as this was set up in the corner but all the lovely swaps from fellow Jems and samples I have made certainly whet the appetite for stampin up goodies!!

 

It was certainly a busy day so chill out and bit of a craft for me today whilst we wait and see what the weather is up to before deciding on what to do.

Happy Thursday to you...I can not quite believe its almost the end of my working week already - flown by as been so busy!!

Had to share this as it is exactly how my son makes me feel when I am feeling a bit low!!

Even when he is covered from head to foot in chicken pox he has a smile on his gorgeous little face.

Happy 22nd Birthday to my niece for today!

 

This is the card I made her using Build a Birthday stamp set.

 

 

I have seen this 3D effect on pinterest and had to have a go and had to add some bling with dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and Cheslea is a glitter gal just like me...we love the sparkles!!

 

 

She had requested vouchers for clothes for her holiday or money for her holiday so made a simple money wallet out of DSPfor her gift of £££

 

And made a box envelope to hold the card and the wallet all secured with one of my better bows.

 

Hope she ahs a fantastic day and hopefully we will be joining her for a family meal this evening - all depends on the chicken pox my son has come down with!!

Busy day today planning/prepping for a crafternoon next week - am trying to get organised as have busy week ahead too!

 

Let's hope the best laid plans etc work out!!

 

So whilst I was playing around with the Cottage Greetings set I made this quick mini thankyou card for a friend. I enjoyed going back to my childhood and colouring in  too :0)

 

 

A lovely little flower stamp dotted around the swirly greeting - love it!

A lovely sunny day here and hope the weather is kind where you are.

 

Firstly I wish to apologise for my little absence I have had a sick little boy all week and now we he has Chicken Pox and is covered in spots...not nice for him at all so my crafting and blogging suffered...sorry!

 

Back on it whilst he is occupied though and today is the birthday card for one of his friend's whose party is today - obviously we are not going now so hope Freddie has a fab time at his birthday celebrations - sorry we can not be there!

 

 

Freddie loves lego at the moment so whipped up this lovely bright lego style card. pleased with how it turned out as some of the ideas in my head done actually go according to the plan :0)
