faith in nature set

Good afternnon crafters

another wet and miserable day here and not feeling very well today so quick post for me and back to rest & recuperation...hopefully!

This gift set i made for my aunties birthday with the gorgeous Faith in Nature stamp set in colour scheme of crumb cake, marina mist and pear pizazz with some little hints of daffodil delight and baja breeze too

I made the desktop holder from a template design by someone who i cant quite remember on writitng this but when i do i will post the link.

I decorated with some very vanilla ribbon and antique brad and added some detail too with a border punch...i did put it in a cellophane bag with a topper decorated too but silly me forgot to take a picture of that but even if do say so myself did look lovely!!

Faith in nature stamp set is suitable for many occassions as very versatile and i made 4 simple cards to go within the holder, coloured in with my stampin' write markers so the colour scheme matches throughout and added obligatory bling etc.

Added various sentiments to the cards to cover a multitude of occassions and hope the recipients like to receive them when sent :0)

And here the full set shot...lovely!!

Thats it from me for now

take care and happy crafting

Bunting banner

Good afternoon crafters

hope the sun is shining where you are as it is here for a change!!

Ive seen lots of these about and thought id make one for myself just as an introduction for myself :0) or so i dont forget my name...who knows!!

I used a neutral colour scheme for the base and jazzed it up with daffodil delight and pumpkin pie and used the scallop trim dotty ribbon in chocolate chip...very yummy!!

I stamped my name and cut out, mounted on some whisper white and used the scallop circle punch to add a flower like edge to them. Then used my little leaves die and my beautiful wings embosslit to add some interest.

To the centre letter i used some non SU flowers to 'attract' my butterflies :0)

My banner was then blinged a little added gems to the butterflies and a few to the bunting shapes on certain letters and tipped them all with brads to make them hang right.

Hope you like it as much as me

Take care and happy crafting

Happy 21st

Good Afternoon crafters

Hope all is well and that the sunshine is breaking through the clouds where you are as finally doing so here!! Had nothing but rain since i came home from my holidays :0(

Todays offering is a 21st easel card for my cousins daughter...makes me feel old how quick all the kids in the family are growing up!!

Anyway i went a bit girlie on this one with the neutral colours of crumb cake and very vanilla being set off with stunning gold and a vibrant non SU violet i had left over from a wedding order.

I used my favorite top note die as the centrepiece with my computer generated sentiment  and added a beautiful wings embosslit butterfly and a very vanilla bow

Finished off with some gems and a four frames 'happy birthday' sentiment to use to hold up the top of the card

lovely!!

Nicola had a lovely birthday and loved her cards :0)

Bye for now...off to craft!

take care

AWOL apologies but am sure you'll understand!

Well as i'm sure you will agree a fabulous place to be even if no crafting!!

Ive been away on my jolly holidays hence the lack of posts and had a glorious time spent with family in the sunshine...back to reality now and the wet weather unfortunately!! But also my crafty goodies :0)

Obviously before i went i did have a fairly big crafty time where got lots of things done and will show you just a few over next few days hopefully...if i can tear my self away from the gorgeous new summer mini catalogue that launched the beginning of may!! Jam packed full of allsorts of wonderful things...drop me a line if you need a copy or wish to place an order.

I was getting in the holiday spirit i think as made alot of things in crumb cake and lovely baja breeze...i adore this pleated ribbon and am already on my 2nd roll, adds that little extra to the simplest of cards.

Same colour combo and another very simple design that is quick and easy but very effective with embosseed background using the vintage wallpaper folder and a flower cut using the fun flowers die topped with an antique brad...another of my favorites but i hate using them as the pot gets emptier and emptier and have to force myself to part with them!!

Slightly different angle so you can the fantastic detail you get from embossing folder and that fabulous ribbon!

Well thats it for today...still have huge pile of washing and ironing to get through...only problem with holidays is you could really do with another one to recover from the aftermath of it!!

take care and happy crafting

ornament punch...or is it!

Good morning crafters!
hope you are all enjoying the long bank holiday weekend despite the weather being a little wet!!

I needed something special for my aunities 70th birthday and she loves flowers and remember seeing something like this on the internet made with the ornament punch but as usual when looking for something you never find it!!

So made or attempted to make her a card with some orchids on?? what do you think??

Closer view...i think they look like orchids but then i would!
Input greatly appreciated please :0)

I finished the front of this 3 fold card with a little very vanilla ribbon and a four frame sentiment stamp and added some pearls.

I also added a 70 to the next layer of the card and added another flower to link it in just so she knows how old she is lol!!

Again added a few pearls to add the finishing touches...hope she likes it and has a fabulous 70th birthday and party!!

Thats it for now am off to stock up on crafty supplies before hopefully having a relaxing day crafting away :0)

another cupcake!

Good morning crafters, Hope all well where you are today.

today my card is another cupcake, i cant seem to get enough of it :0) and a very quick and simple birthday card

I just love the way my ribbon ruffle turned out!!

Another quick and simple birthday card for a friends mum, as you can see im working my way through a 'pastel' phase at the moment and loving the way they look together.

I used the little flower stamp in from the fresh vintage SAB set and stamped in varioyus pastel shades and cut out then finished each one with a small gem and the effect is lovely. the below picture gives you a more detailed look, hope you like it as much as me

Finished off with a bow so looks like a bouquet of flowers and viola!

take care and happy crafting

good luck!

Good afternoon crafters

ive had a busy day already but am trying to get some crafting done this afternoon...fingers crossed!!

Friday was the end of an era at my works where the ownership of the practice transferred to one of our lovely dentists and the previous owners not only celebrated 50 years in practice but their retirement so this called for 'toothy' good luck cards all round.

we also lost our lady dentist as she was transferring to a practice in liverpool so made her one too!!

I used so saffron DSP with very vanilla ribbon and white finished off with a little tooth which obviously very apt for the occassion.

I used four frames and the matching punch to make the sentiment topper...simple but very much appreciated by the recipients :0)

And below i made the same card in 3 different colorways to go along with their very unique gifts!!

Thats it for today...off to washup after a lovely sunday roast before spending rest of day crafting

take care
