Morning all

Last weekend after having a little sort out and finding soooo much DSP - you probably know exactly what I mean :0) I held a little crafternoon. 10 cards for £10 to use up my huge array of designer papers past and present and it as a lovely day with 2 ne ladies joining us. Much fun had by all I am sure.

So I wanted to show you a few of the simple designs we made.

All clean and simple in design letting the DSP do the talking shall we say.

I am enjoying my last day off today with some chore and hopefully will squeeze a little crafting in there somewhere!

We are on to

Using the Hardwood background stamp

 a quick thankyou card using very vanilla and blushing bride. The sentiment is fro one big meaning and I love this swirly greeting. I set it off with some petite petal flowers another retiring item that unfortunately has sold out now too...will miss it.

I also made a birthday card in pool party combo using the same sketch just added a lace doilie in the background

I am continuing this sentiment with this card as I am off to Sunday lunch with the family today and am giving this to my Mum with some flowers.

using flurry of wishes but I stamped a decorative edge to the card rather than snowflakes and added some diecut flowers colour washed with flirty flamingo

I hope you are all enjoying the Easter weekend and may I take this opportunity to wish you all Happy Easter.

I went off on a bit of a tangent from the alphabet journey of late so want to head back to that as a lot of my stamps sets are retiring...boo! I have had to skip a few as they have sold out already.

Hope you are all having a good week, we are on to another month and so another challenge over on notjustcards with the theme - EASTER.

I Chose to make a simple frame using stampin up dsp and digital crafting with MDS(retired sorry)

The lovely flower elf I coloured in with su markers and promarkers and added a photo.

A quickie today this is my simple march swap for a group I am in on facebook, the theme was trees

The sky background is watercoloured and the trees are sparkly although hard to see in the photo. Simple sentiment which I thought was perfect for a swap

Hi all

In case you missed me I have been away on holiday for the past week, I had fully intended to schedule posts for the week I was away but I just ran out of time with all the prep for a family holiday!!

We had a fantastic time in Majorca with lovely weather shame to be back in the cold here but at least a long bank holiday weekend is on the way for me to catch up on my crafting fix.

So on to my card for today...my brother's wedding anniversary card - 21 years he has been married yesterday and this lovely project is what I made for him and his wife.

I used the first sight stamp set in a subtle crumb cake, mint macaron and Bermuda bay colour scheme with a hint of soft sky and some natural twine

Hope they liked it.
