They were much appreciated by recipients.

Sunday 30 August 2015

Good Morning all

A lovely day again here...always the way now the children are getting ready to go back to school the weather turns nicer by the day!!

Anyway yesterday saw my minion mayhem crafternoon and it was certainly that!

Here is just a little of the 'mess and mayhem' we got up to :-)

and we had an extra helper in the form of my little woofa Skyla...she loves to eat paper and it was all over the floor shredded into what looked hundreds of pieces.

and here are the fab projects we made whilst having lots of fun and laughter along the way.
My next crafternoon is October 10th but I am having a new catalogue launch next sunday Sept 6th if you are local to Runcorn area pop by and join us.

Happy crafting and enjoy your sunday

Saturday 29 August 2015

Good Morning

Quickie from me today as have a crafternoon happening today 12-4pm so have to rearrange my living room etc ready for my crafters :0)

I made this fab medium sized gift bag using the fantastic gift bag punch board which I have had for a fair few week and only just opened up - awful isn't it...I get so excited when crafty goodies arrive that just have no idea what to play with first and this must of been put to one side.

Now I am addicted as needed a little but taller bag for some handcream, made my own and then just carried on 'such fun'!!

I used some designer series paper stack in neutrals and although I have some preorder goodie form the fab new autumn/winter seasonal catalogue my order was split so have half of this particular bundle but as mentioned just could not wait to use it!!

How cute are those acorns!

They are from the Acorny thankyou bundle and although I used eactly the same dsp as the bag with some subtle sponging they have a different look to them, a lovely subtle hello autumn look is what I am calling it lol.

That's me for today I am off to run my minion mayhem crafternoon

Happy crafting

Friday 28 August 2015

I made my own business cards to place on the back of the new Aut/Win seasonal catalogue...due to go live September 1st 2015!

Exciting!!

Message me if you would like a copy sent out to you.

I used a couple of the cute little leaves form the NEW Amoung the branches stamp set and dotted them around in old olive and tangelo twist for an autumnal feel.

Here are just a few catty's awaiting packaging up and sending on their merry way.

We are off to the Ice cream Farm again - loved it!

Now I know we are still in 'summer' but I am feeling all Christmassy!!

My Aut/Win seasonal catty preorder goodies came at the start of the week and have been itching to play but jut never had the time...till now!!

A colour challenge on our team facebook page gave us the fab combo of crumb cake, black, white and gold. This is what I came up with.

I am giving you a sneak peek of the gorgeous Flurry of wishes stamp set available for you to purchase from the 1st of September - message me to do so!

Plus even better it has a matching punch for the 2 smaller snowflakes which I embossed in gold and punched out, some metallic thread behind the sentiment panel which speckled with gorgeous grunge.

How gorgeous is that...and I love the gold snowflakes. Cant wait till sunday where for once I have a free day to PLAY!!! :0)

Tuesday 18 August 2015

Good morning all

Another lovely day where I am today just keeping my fingers crossed it lasts at the weekend as fun family time is planned as well as a bit of back to school shopping - only way I can get my son to go shopping!! Bribery :0)

Well a lovely little mini card holder for you today and very simple this is another project my crafternooner's made at the weekend and loved it.

Simply decorated a dotty bag and made a tag - I was a poet and didn't know it lol!

I made the little 3d banner by stamping sentiment again in different colour and fussy cutting it out.

We had cards and dinosaurs in Bermuda bay, real red, pumpkin pie and old olive with the skeletons stamped in darker shades. very effective and my little man even made some but he has written them out to send to his friends bless him.

Have a lovely day and happy crafting

Monday 17 August 2015

Hello

Today I am showing you one of the projects form Saturday's crafternoon

As I mentioned it we used the fab No Bones About It stamp set for this crafternoon and we all loved it!

This is a lovely card with lots of techniques including background stamping a one sheet wonder - to be shown at a later date! embossing and sponging too.

We clear embossed the skeletons on to watercolour card and heat set them before sponging a variety of colours on to the card to make it look like the ground and used the tree builder punch to make a little bone to add to the greeting.

I coloured a couple of the tiny enamel dot from the cottage greetings kit that I had left over and dotted them about as stones, gems work just as well :0)

That's me for today.

Happy crafting

Sunday 16 August 2015

Morning all

A lovely sunny Sunday here :0)

I have missed a couple of days as busy planning for an event yesterday as well as swim training as I have taken up the mammoth challenge of swimming 22 miles in 12 weeks - the equivalent of the English Channel in aid of charity so training has begun ready to start September 7th!!

Need all the luck I can get I know lol!!

Anyway as I said I held a No Bones About It crafternoon yesterday which was lots of fun we did have a good giggle.

Here is our work area ready to craft with the fab little goody bags with all materials in. I love these Kraft paper bags and buy in bulk as they can be dressed up with just a simple little tag and look fab!

Inside my crafter found all they needed to make our 3 projects - these I will show you another day- plus one of these lovely 'little' thank you cards and they are little only 2 x 2 inches and so cute with it.

Enjoy your day

Monday 10 August 2015

Hello

Wow Monday already...how quick the weekend goes don't you think?!!

Well I love the No Bones About It stamp set if you have not already guessed it and ill be showcasing a few of my recent projects with this set through out the week and next as Saturday sees another Crafternoon for me using this set.

It is not just for males either as today's project is a girly card with it...

Girly colours of pink pirouette , rich razzleberry and blackberry bliss with the sentiment embossed in melon mambo! I know I have a little bit of an obsession with embossing at the minute I just can not seem to get enough of it.

I even embossed the skeletons in iridescent ice  for the very sparkly glittery effect.

Cute or what!!

Happy crafting

Sunday 9 August 2015

Good morning

Happy Sunday to you and hope you are having a lovely weekend.
We had a fantastic time at a maze yesterday and only got a little lost :0)

Well I have been playing with the lovely Awesomely Artistic and made this but I am not sure about all the embossing but still let me know what you think.

Simple combo of basic grey, basic black and silver embossing with a hint of vellum

I double embossed the wooden elements greeting and dotted around it with a couple of rhinestones.

This picture really shows the shine on the embossing...I love the magic when the emboss powder melts!! But the best bit is the end result.

Happy crafting
