Good afternoon

Late post today as been running errands all morning plus chores and the normal day to day stuff...now i can play with crafty things :0)

I've wanted to have a go at this for a while but thought it looked very completed Amanda assured me it wasnt so took the plunge following her tutorial which you can find HERE i had a go!!

And loved the results!! I used the number of years set along with a background stamped from the first sight set in calypso coral ith hints of old olive and pool party.

Number 8 is cut from dazzling diamonds using the large number dies - so much easier than ccutting them out by hand.

Hello crafters

Todays projects are the lovely watercolour technique cards we made at recent training all using the gorgeous birthday blooms stamp set.

I wasnt sure about the techniques as i am not the greatest colour-er but really pleased with them and just adore the stamp set.

this one was on the new shimmer card which i have never used before but i like it and just look how sparkly the pool party glitter ribbon is.

This one uses some gorgeous DSP  and look at the glorious shimmer using the wink of stella brush...just gorgoeus.

Last but certainly not least the embossed one watercoloured using the aquabrush and inks

Today I am showing you the swaps I took to training over the weekend. I decided to make a little envelope using the envelope punch board which held an individually wrapped teabag and a rich tea biscuit as you cant have a cuppa without a bisscuit.

Colour combo of mint macaron, whisper white and very vanilla with a hint of bermuda bay, watermelon wonder and crushed curry.

I used the saleabration stamp set Botanicals for you with gorgeous grunge to decorate the envelope

The little flowers also had a touch of the fab wink of stella brush pen to give a gorgeous subtle shimmer.

Hope they were well recieved and i was given some fantastic swaps in return.

Happy Sunday to you and a snowy one at that here

If you have snow and have to go out please stay safe!

Ive been missing all week almost and just been so busy then had internet issues but hopefully all sorted now so back at it.

Todays offering is a quick and simple gift bag made using the gift bag punch board. I have been making swaps for a team training (i will sho you these later in the week) and using mint macaron so continued to play with it.

I apologise for the bad photos but very difficult getting a decent one with the bad light. I used the flowers from the Number of Years stamp set to stamp a wildflower strip across the bottom and the fantastic sentiment from the SAB set Botanicals for you.

Now to find something to go in it :0)

Hapy Sunday to you

Last night I helped a friend celebrate a big birthday with a fabulous 'casino royale' themed party so to keep with the glitz and glam I made this simple but blingy card for her.

The 40 as cut out using the new framelet dies and gold glimmer paper - sooo blingy you can see the sparkle on this in the picture below.

Happy Birthday again and happy crafting to you

Morning all

WOW this week has flown by and i have been busy playing with new products.

Today i have used the lovely sentiment from the SAB set Botanicals for you and heat embossed roughly so i can create a subtle watercolour wash background.

I was playing around with ideas for swaps for a training at end of Jan but although i like these they just didnt quite work for swaps!

I dotted multi sized gems about and used 2 different colourways.

The weather here has been awful so much rain and wind so thought i would cheer up my crafty area with this very cute all dressed up digi image.
I did some pro marker colouring - very relaxing to spend time just colouring i now see why it is very trendy at the minute.

I did this for the Not Just Cards challenge that can be found here

I made the background using the  Subtles designer paper stack and to be honest i had forgotten i had it - found it when having a tidy up ooppss!!

Even the diddy flowers which I stuck on the outside of the glass so they were 3d are made using DSP and gems to the centre as I love sparkle all year round. :0)

Hi crafters

Not that i need an excuse to craft but obviously had to send 'Thank you ' cards for the mountain of presents we as a family received this Christmas and so i turned to the lovely Number of Years set again as includes a lovely wild flower spray that you can add your flowers to.

I made a huge stack of these and wrote them etc within an hour as very quick and simple but look lovely hope you agree.

Stamped along the bottom of my card and added a simple sentiment from Banner Banter in the corner.

Clean and simple
